What is a Sommelier?

A sommelier is a certified, extensively trained wine professional. They mush exhibit expert level knowledge of major concepts, flavors, styles and regions of wine worldwide.

A sommelier must be studied but also very experienced in hands on hospitality skills. They must show mastery in restaurant and bar service skills, wine tasting knowledge and ability to expertly educate and train others in pursuit of wine knowledge.
